Frequently Asked Questions

Can you handle last-minute medical transportation requests?

While we operate 24/7, we cannot always guarantee that we will have a driver and van available. We encourage customers to call us at least 2-3 days before any transportation need. However, we always do our best to accommodate customer requests as best we can.

How much do you charge for medical transport?

We use mileage and time to calculate our fares and offer very competitive rates. Not only are our rates budget-friendly, but they are also an outstanding value for the high quality of service we provide. If you'd like a free, no-obligation quote, please give us a call or send us details about your upcoming appointment.

What are your hours of operation?

We are available to provide medical transport 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Can you provide any emergency medical transportation services?

No. We only provide non-emergency medical transportation services.

Will your driver stay and wait for me?

If we are providing roundtrip transportation for a healthcare-related appointment, our driver typically stays on-site. However, if the appointment is expected to take several hours, the driver might leave and come back at a predetermined time.

Can your services be covered or paid for by my insurance company, Medi-Cal, or Medicare?

We only accept cash and credit card payments at this time and cannot guarantee that your insurance provider will reimburse you. We encourage you to contact your insurance provider directly if you have any questions.

Do you offer gurney medical transport?

No, not at this time.

Are rides private or shared?

We do not provide any ride-sharing services, so you will not have to worry about extra stops or riding with anyone you don't know. However, we can transport multiple passengers if they are friends, family members, or caretakers accompanying you to the same destination.

Can I have a friend or caretaker ride with me?

Yes. Our vans can accommodate up to four adults and one wheelchair or three adults with two wheelchairs.

How far will you travel?

Most of our trips are not more than 20-25 miles and remain within San Diego and the surrounding cities of East County, including Lemon Grove, La Mesa, El Cajon, Santee, Lakeside, Spring Valley, San Carlos, Rolando, Winter Gardens, and Rancho San Diego.
